Learning objectives
The aim of this seminar is to provide the opportunity to deepen the fundamentals of audiological diagnostics from an applicative point of view. The seminar is linked to course of Audiology of the second year. It is practical and provides the possibility to clarify the correct procedure that a technician must perform in conducting the basic audiological diagnostic examinations.
Expected learning outcomes
The ability to recognize the anatomical structures of the external ear and the physiological condition.
Course syllabus and organization

Single session

The lessons will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform and can be followed both synchronously on the basis of the first semester timetable and asynchronously because they will be recorded and left available to students on the same platform
Course syllabus
1. Otoscopy: definition of normality
2. Curiosity about basic audiometric techniques (such as impedance measurement, vocal audiometry and acoustic otoemissions)
3. Methods of balance and hearing: two expressions of the functioning of the same organ
