Complementary Course: the Rule of Law, the Role of Punishment (workshop at the Bollate prison)

Learning objectives
The teaching module consists of a series of seminar lectures and meetings open to students and inmates, having as their theme the law, the prison sentence, the experience of imprisonment and life in detention facilities. The meetings will take place at the Bollate Penitentiary and at the University of Milan.
In particular, through this teaching we aim to allow students to get to know the prison reality from within, to create opportunities for exchange and discussion between teachers, students and prisoners and to deepen in an interactive and participatory way some classic themes of prison and deviance.

Expected learning outcomes
Through this teaching module, students will develop a different knowledge of the penitentiary reality and the ability to face group discussions on the proposed themes.
