Ecosystem Functioning and Services

The course aims at providing advanced knowledge of ecosystem ecology.

At the end of the course, students will be able to analyse, individually or in groups, an environment of their choice, highlighting its ecological characteristics, its functioning, and the ecosystem services it provides. This activity also aims at developing the critical ability of the student in analysing the ecological characteristics of an environment. Students should also know how to communicate the results of their analysis effectively through a short report, a presentation, or a short video.
