Learning objectives
La didattica del corso di Lingua Francese mira all'apprendimento delle strutture fondamentali della grammatica e all'acquisizione di un livello di base nella comprensione e l'espressione scritta e orale, con l'obiettivo di conseguire alla fine del corso il livello B1 del Quadro Europeo di riferimento.
Si leggeranno in classe testi relativi a vari argomenti, che verranno tradotti prestando particolare attenzione alla morfo-sintassi e al lessico. Si utilizzeranno inoltre sussidi multimediali per migliorare la comprensione della lingua parlata e per offrire ulteriori spunti di approfondimento alla conversazione in lingua.

The emergency phase may require the use of online platforms for remote teaching, such as Microsoft Teams. Further modalities of teaching and assessment may be necessary after evaluation of the sanitary situation.
Course syllabus
-French pronunciation (accents, vowels, consonants, diphthongs)
-Parts of discorse: nouns and adjectives (gender and plural), articles (definite, indefinite, partitives), descriptive, dimostrative and possessive adjectives, personal pronouns, relative pronouns, possessive and dimostrative pronouns, preposition and expressions of time and place.
-The verbs: construction and use of indicative mode (present, future, past tenses), "gallicismes" (specific French tenses).
-Syntax of the affermative, negative and interrogative tense.
-Vocabulary, comprehension and communicative abilities: activity of reading and listening, together with translation, of short texts in order to acquire useful vocabulary in several communication contexts (For ex. greetings and courtesy expressions, presentations, traveling,descriptions )

Assessment methods and Criteria
Multiple choice written test of 35 minutes. Questions aim to assess the knowledge of grammatical, syntactical and lexical points seen in class. Students who regularly attend the course are allowed to pass two partial exams. If the results are positive for both of them, students will be exonerated from the final written test. In order to validate attendance, students must not skip more than 6 classes (3 before the first partial exams and 3 after)
