Il corso si propone di presentare, da un lato, le strutture morfosintattiche di livello intermedio e avanzato della lingua francese e, dall'altro, attraverso lo studio di testi dedicati a un tema specifico attinente alle relazioni internazionali, una corretta metodologia di analisi che tenga conto non solo della dimensione grammaticale e lessicale ma anche di quella logica e argomentativa.

Lesson period
First trimester
The French Language Course for International Relations a.a. 2020-21 will be held online on the Teams platform.
The first lesson is scheduled for Tuesday 22 September at 2.30 pm. All practical information will be made available on the course website on the ARIEL platform.

In order to actively follow the lessons, interested students will have to retrieve the scheduled texts within the first week from the beginning of the course. The modalities of the examinations of December 2020 and January 2021 will be announced on the ARIEL platform at the end of the course, according to the pandemic evolution.

The GRAMMATICAL PROGRAMME covers the following topics:

B. LES PROPOSITIONS SUBORDONNÉES

MONOGRAPHIC COURSE
«"Le monde comme il va": le débat politique à l'époque du covid-19». The course will consist of the analysis of lexical-grammatical structures and logical arguments developed in texts by classical and contemporary authors
Prerequisites for admission
Knowledge of French language: A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
Teaching methods
The monographic course includes the analysis of the scheduled texts with the active participation of the students (reading aloud, linguistic analysis, discussions on the topics developed by the individual texts).

Grammar exercises include the presentation of grammar rules with exercises to verify and consolidate the notions learned.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The examination consists of two tests:
- written test: grammar test aimed at verifying the knowledge of morphosyntactic structures at intermediate and advanced level of the French language.
- oral test aimed at verifying the use of a correct methodology of text analysis that takes into account not only the grammatical and lexical dimension but also the logical and argumentative one.
