The study of thought processes, personality, and intelligent conduct.
Within a general historical framework about the evolution of scientific psychology and the main cognitive constructs, the wide and varied area of psychology of thought, which includes reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making, will be introduced. Space will then be given to the study of intelligence, personality, and well-being with particular reference to the field of teaching.
The models and constructs of psychology introduced will allow the deepening of the area of psychology of language and communication. Once communication in the field of cognitive psychology has been defined and the main theoretical models have been introduced, various fields of application will be introduced, including public communication, didactics, creative communication (written and oral), and scientific communication.
