Learning objectives
In this course the basics aspects of supersymmetry and string theory are introduced.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to have the following skills:
1. Knowledge of the concepts of superspace and the supersymemtry variations
2. Knowledge of the chiral and the vector multiplet in 4 dimensions
3. Knowledge of the non-renormalization theorems
4. Knowledge of the Witten index
5. Knowledge of the Nambu-Goto action
6. Knowledge of the Virasoro operators
7. Knowledge of the quantization of the open and close bosonic string theory
8. Knowledge of the basics aspects of superstring theory
