Learning objectives
        
            
                  III yr students: the activity has the objective to give students the basic ability to collect  patient's medical history (history taking), to evaluate vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate) and to perform a physical examination of adults and elder elderly, of both sexes., 
V yr students: the activity has the objective to give students the ability to discuss the more important diagnostic issues related to the main organs and systems, assessing presentation, symptoms, signs, diagnosis (with differential), prevention and treatment of the main clinical syndromes. The activity has also the objective to give the student the ability to critically evaluate results of blood examinations and imaging. The student acquires the relational abilities that are needed when speaking with parents.

Expected learning outcomes
        
            
                  The student will have to be able to carry out the medical history collection, the physical examination in autonomy or tutoring. Students of the fifth year will also be able to address a clinical discussion and formulation of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches hypothesis.
