Learning objectives
- to improve the knowledge of the theoretical mechanism of psychiatry and descriptive psychopatology: main aspects on psychic functions and psychopathological features in many transcultural events. Acquire also the main psychopathological features about psychiatric emergency.
Expected learning outcomes
- to develop the ability to recognize the main psychopathological features and begin a preliminary rehabilitative clinical approach.

The program and the bibliography are confirmed.
Teaching activities will be held both in presential mode and at distance (synchronous mode) using MS Teams platform.
Assessment of the learning: Microsoft Teams (oral examination) and Moodle (written examination).

Autistic disorders in adults

Trauma - stressors related disorders
For each disorder the etiopathogenic bases, the clinical presentation and the diagnostic criteria will be indicated.

Medical psychopathology
The main psychopathological symptoms related to medical syndromes. From psychopathology to psychiatric diagnosis Discussion in group of clinical cases with the aid of video recordings.

Emergencies in Psychiatry
Form Characteristics of Emergency in Psychiatry - Presentation and Management of Crisis of Anxiety - Presentation and Management of Suicide - Presentation and Management of Acute Psychotic Crisis - Presentation and management of patients with Crisis of agitation and violent behaviour - Mandatory Health Care - case reports debate.

Cognitive functioning and Rehabilitation

Assessment methods and Criteria
Assessment of the learning will take place through a oral /written test.
The evaluation criteria used will be the ability to list and organize the acquired knowledges as well as their application for the resolution of short questions. The evaluation of the teaching will be expressed in 30th and will be the result of the weighted average of the votes acquired in each module of the teaching. The results of the tests will be communicated to the students through online verbalization system of university.
