Learning objectives
This integrative course of Canon Law and Sociology of Law aimed at deepening the theme of religious pluralism in close relation with the changes of law generated by the crisis of the State as a source of law. It provides students with the fundamental conceptual and legal tools to address the issue of religious and cultural diversity in a plural society.
Expected learning outcomes
- Knowledge and understanding of the main sociological and legal questions posed by the multicultural evolution of our societies.
- Ability to reflect in an interdisciplinary way.
- Independence in the analysis of the cases treated and in the identification of the solutions applicable to them.
- Communication skills, argumentative consistency, and an adequate command of the terminology.
