- Acquire and apply the principles and methodologies of epidemiology and prevention. - Understand the natural history and determinants of communicable and non-communicable diseases to identify the most appropriate prevention strategies. - Know the epidemiology and prevention of diseases with a significant impact on Public Health.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student should know the demographic/health data and health indicators. The student should also be able to know and apply the epidemiological and preventive methodologies.
