Learning objectives
- Understanding the disciplinary contents of the main psychological functions.
- Knowing the paradigms and the essential schemes of the most used psychological models in socio-health-educational services for the developmental age.
- Using psychological terminology to understand better yourself and the each other.
- Knowing the main theoretical reference models of social psychology.
- Acquiring notions about psycho-hygiene and family psychology.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student must:
- distinguish between emotional, motivational and cognitive dimensions in analyzing individual behavior.
- correctly use psychological terminology in the description of one's own and others' experience.
- identify adaptive and dysfunctional facets of social interactions.
- identify adaptive and dysfunctional processes within families.

Most lessons will take place synchronously through the Teams platforms. If possible, some lessons will be organized in presence, following the indications provided by the University as concerns safety and social distancing, with simultaneous activation of the remote mode via Teams. All lessons will be recorded and made available to students on the Ariel platform, together with additional learning materials.

The course program and materials will not change.

During the emergency phase exams will be performed orally through Teams. Whenever possible, written exams comprising open-ended questions - as decribed in the assessment method section - will be organized in presence, following the indications concerning safety and social distancing. The possibility to perform the exam orally in remote mode will be anyway guaranteed for students living in other regions or countries, as well as for students with serious pathologies.

No preliminary knowledge requested
Assessment methods and Criteria
Written exam with 10 open-ended questions (7 on general psychology topics, 3 on social psychology topics)
The final mark is expressed in thirtieths.

The lessons will be held in-class in compliance with the University indications on social distancing and/or remotely through the online platforms provided by the University. The distance lessons will be held in synchronous (through Microsoft Teams platform) and/or asynchronous mode (through Power point with audio, video recording lessons, other).

The program and reference material will not change.

The written exam will take place according to the procedures described in the dedicated section of the teaching sheet.
As per the Rector's decree of 31 July 2020, the written exam will be done in presence, guaranteeing international students, out-of-the-region students and those affected by serious diseases the possibility to do the written exam remotely, even in a different date.
