Prerequisites for admission
Not required
Teaching methods
Lessons including elements of theory, use of GIS software, exercises, concrete cases of use of GIS technology on study areas. Attendance is strongly recommended.
Teaching Resources
Slides of the lessons, descriptions of the main GIS functions, and other documents available on Ariel portal (in Italian).
Assessment methods and Criteria
Assessment of the topics developed in the course through oral exam.
To take the exam, is required the preparation of a brief report, accompanied with maps realized with GIS, regarding the analysis of a territorial theme applied to a study area.
