Glaucoma patologia, diagnostica, trattamento medico e chirurgico

The objectives of the course are to provide a comprehensive overview of glaucoma, including etiology, pathogenesis, clinics, diagnostics, and medical and surgical management. Diagnostic exams (clinical, morphological and functional) and the role of the ophthalmological assistant in their execution and interpretation will be especially emphasized.

At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the competences required to properly perform and read functional and morphological glaucoma diagnostics, understanding the outcomes in the context of the clinical picture.
