Assessment methods and Criteria
T.U.1 - Landscape planning
The assessment will be carried out through a written test lasting 1 hour, that will consist of open-ended questions on topics developed during the course.
The evaluation will be based on: the degree of knowledge of the topic, the capacity for critical reasoning, the logical organization of the answers and the ability to synthesize, and the use of appropriate language.
T.U.2 - Landscape design
The assessment will be carried out through:
- an oral presentation and discussion of the maps and schemes produced during the exercise, aimed at assessing the ability to apply the acquired knowledge; the time available for the presentation is 1 hour; the evaluation will be carried out taking into account the correctness, completeness and graphic quality of the papers, the capacity of critical reasoning on the study carried out, the quality and effectiveness of the exhibition;
- a written test with 7 questions, both closed and open, on the theoretical topics explained in class, aimed at assessing the theoretical knowledge acquired by the student; the time available for the test is 1 hour; the evaluation will be carried out taking into account the correctness and completeness of the answers, the organization of the speech and the ability to summarize, as well as the lexical and grammatical correctness.
The weighted average of the marks of the two tests (40% for the oral presentation and 60% for the written test) will give the final mark of the teaching unit.
The mark will be expressed out of thirty for both teaching units. The overall mark will be the average of the marks of the two teaching units.
The verification method remains the same for non-attending students, who are anyway invited to contact prof. Rovelli to agree on the study area and the documents to be produced relating to the exercise of the U.D.2.
