Learning objectives
This course deals with the study of the intersections of the sport with the law in ancient Rome.
Expected learning outcomes
- the knowledge of the fundamental institutions of Roman private law and the ability to understand all the principles implied by it;
- the ability to elaborate the acquired notions, with reference to the reading of passages with Roman legal cases;
- independence of judgment, and personal interpretation;
- the use of an appropriate legal language;
- an aptitude to continue further studies.
