Workplace Hygiene and Emergency First Aid

Learning objectives
Acquire the knowledge of occupational hygiene, methods, tools and practices aimed at maintaining and promoting health and preventing illnesses and accidents in the workplace. Acquire the ability to identify situations when specific competences are required;
Acquire the knowledge related to radiation protection;
Know the main models of work organization and their effects on workers' health;
Acquire the ability to intervene, in the immediacy of the event, in emergency situations, implementing, as far as it is concerned, the necessary first aid measures, in order to guarantee survival and the best assistance allowed;
Know the main methods of intervention in catastrophe and natural disasters
Acquire the knowledge related to radiation protection;
Know the main models of work organization and their effects on workers' health;
