Learning objectives
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of physics
- Knowledge of the statistical and statistical-epidemiological methodologies applied to the biomedical and clinical field.
- Knowledge of the concepts of hygiene and public health, health, disease and risk factor and prevention
- Knowledge of the main epidemiological methodologies
- Knowledge of the natural history of diseases and the prophylaxis of infectious and chronic - relevant degenerative diseases
- Promotion of hygiene and safety of people and workplaces
- Knowledge of the elements and the reference legislation relating to radiation protection.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student must have a good knowledge of the fundamentals of the basis disciplines (physics, statistics, epidemiology and radioprotection) and be familiar with the scientific method in order to approach real situations accounting for hygiene and safety regulations. The student must have skills and tools for acquiring and managing information.
