Learning objectives
Course aims at introduction to general and linguistic characters of librettos, and to language of song, with particular attention for students without advanced competence in linguistics, bur also with possibility of linguistic advanced analysis.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge: foundation and evolution of italian opera and of poetic language of opera and song.
Competence: ability to analyze a text for music identifying most important linguistic phenomenons
