Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to guide the student to an effective understanding of geological problems related to resources management and hydrogeological risk. The student will gain the level of knowledge necessary to critically evaluate the effects of the application of these studies to environmental management and planning.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding: basic instruments and methods for geological hazard assessment at different scale
Applying knowledge and understanding: basic comprehension of environmental planning and geo-resources use
Making judgements: basic ability to understand and manage geological data for environmental planning
Communication skills: improving the ability to read technical report and to present results of technical project
Learning skills: developing a basic ability for understanding engineering geology methods supporting resources management and environmental planning
