Learning objectives
The teaching aims at making the basic aspects that characterize the radiological environment understood. In particular, it addresses in a sequential and in-depth way the structure and the various types of fixed and mobile radiological systems and the elements of electrical safety of electromedical equipment.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of this module students should:
- know the types of fixed and mobile equipment
- know the elements on electrical safety of electromedical equipment
- be able to approach correctly to professional training
- be able to explain the create, editing, present and archive process of radiological images.

Course syllabus and organization

Single session

Course syllabus
Technical execution of radiographic investigations related to the main acquisition protocols of osteo-articular, thoracic, senological and abdominal imaging, including skull and column acquisition protocols.
Acquisition of the main post processing and image processing techniques.
Prerequisites for admission
Full knowledge of the courses of "Morphological and functional basis of life", "Radiobiology and radioprotection" and "Conventional radiology: Imaging and techniques".
Teaching methods
The Internship is a teaching activity, during which student works under the direct control of a Professional Tutor coordinated by the Director of Professional Activities of the Degree Course.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Execution of practical activities and operating procedures to simulate the activity carried out at a professional level.
At the end of each year the technical and practical skills, acquired during the professionalizing internship, are subject to evaluation and formalization with a vote by the Director of professional activities in collaboration with Professional Tutors.
The vote is expressed in 30 marks.
The booking on the UNIMIA portal, within the dates established for each appeal, is mandatory for the examination.
