Learning objectives
The objective of the course is to present the principles and advanced techniques of data protection applicable in emerging scenarios.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will know the concepts, methodologies and scientific and technological solutions related to the protection of data in emerging scenarios. The student will also be able to critically apply the knowledge acquired in different application areas to have guarantees on the protection of data.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam consists of a written test aimed at verifying the preparation and understanding of the subject. The written test includes theory questions and exercises. The written test lasts two hours. The mark is expressed in thirtieths and will be based on the correctness, completeness, and clarity of the answers to the theoretical questions and on the ability to reason and use the knowledge acquired for solving the exercises. The exam is closed book. The result of the written test will be communicated through the publication of a pdf file on the Ariel website of the course.
