Learning objectives
The course aims to provide a comprehensive and deep knowledge on the principles regulating electrochemistry-based strategies for environment protection. A survey of methods for pollution sensing, purification and remediation of wastewaters, airborne streams and soils will be given.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will master basic concepts in electrochemistry and on the most conventional methods for environmental remediation and pollutants quantitative determination. He/she will develop a deep knowledge on electrochemistry-based methods for environmental protection, pollution monitoring, separation and remediation. He/she will be able to choose the best electrochemistry-based strategy to monitor, separate or destroy a single pollutant or mixture in water, soil or air.
Single course

This course can be attended as a single course.
