Prerequisites for admission
Students are admitted to the final exam after having successfully completed all courses, passed all examinations and completed training and stage or internship activities provided for in the study plan.
Teaching methods
The master's degree in Biomedical Omics is obtained by passing the final exam, which consists in the discussion of an experimental thesis carried out in university research laboratories or other public or private institutions, national or foreign. The thesis must be prepared under the guidance of a supervisor, written in English, and be consistent with the educational path of the degree course.
Teaching Resources
Students must independently search for the bibliography related to the topic assigned for the thesis.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The final exam consists in the discussion of the thesis in front of a panel composed of 5 Biomedical Omics faculty members. The panel will assign a score between 0 and 10 points to the thesis. The final grade will be established unanimously by the panel, taking into account the student's performance throughout the Master's program (weighted average of the marks obtained in the exams added to the mark attributed to the thesis).
