Learning objectives
The Degree in Labour and Management is awarded upon passing a final exam, worth 6 credits/CFU, which requires a written essay on a topic chosen within the issues deepened during the three-year Degree.
The aim of the final exam is to stimulate students' ability to: independently analyze a topic / problem through an appropriate analysis of the scientific literature on the subject; synthesize the results of their analysis, organizing the contents in a way that is clear and coherent with the research questions; reflect on the results achieved, showing awareness of both the practical implications of the knowledge produced and the methodological limitations of the methods used to obtain it.
The final exam can also be taken in a foreign language, in particular in English.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the final exam, students should be able to:
- be autonomous in the search for reliable sources and data for the analysis and explanation of a topic/problem related to the fields of labour and management;
- be autonomous in the critical analysis of the reference literature and available data;
- summarize in a writing form the main knowledge produced in response to the initial research questions;
- reflect on the theoretical, practical and methodological implications of the work carried out.
