Prerequisites for admission
The student is required to have a basic knowledge in chemistry and is strongly suggested to have also a basic knowledge in mineralogy and petrography. The credits in "Chemistry and laboratory" are mandatory whereas those in Mineralogy and Petrography are suggested.
Teaching methods
Frontal lecture and practical laboratory
Teaching Resources
Slides of the lectures and the following books: Geochimica e Ambiente (Dongarra -Varrica); Radiogenic Isotope Geology (Dikin); Principles and Applications of Geochemistry (Faure)
Assessment methods and Criteria
Learning outcomes are verified with an oral examination consisting in an interview about the program of the course. The interview aims to assess the knowledge and the understanding of the subject and the way of express the acquired concepts in a scientifically correct language.
