Learning objectives
Make the Students conscious about the theory and practice of the principles that drive the Injury Prevention and the Functional Recovery to Return to Play after Injury.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will be required to have the knowledge of the foundation, theory and practice, of the Injury Prevention and Functional Recovery.

LECTURES FRONTAL
1-introduction to prevention in sport
2-training load monitoring in sport
3-joint biomechanics of the main anatomical districts
4-main causes of injury in sport: sports injuries
5-objectives of return to play for injured athete
6-the motor pattern and the effects of sensorimotor training
7-assessments of muscle deficits and asymmetries of the limbs and trunk
8-rate force development (RFD) of the return to sport for injured athete

PRATICAL LESSONS
1-force absorption and changes of direction in team sports
2-the training of phasic and tonic muscles
3-force development of the return to sport for injured athete

No prerequisites are required
Teaching methods
Lecture lesson with help of the video and multimedia system.
Practical group lesson using flipnet methodology
Teaching Resources
Lecture materials, articles and monographs will be indicated by the teacher during the course
Assessment methods and Criteria
written test: project work, planning of the prevention training and/or return to sport injury athlete
