Course syllabus
The exercise focuses on the study of the casuistry of Roman jurisprudence. Starting with a practical case, from time to time constructed on the teaching of the sources contained in the Digest, the underlying legal issues will be addressed, attempting to arrive at the final solution represented by the jurist's 'responsum', according to the principles of Roman law.
The topics of the Institutions of Roman Law course will here be set in the concrete context of relations between private individuals and their conflicts of interest.
Trial simulations will take place with the active participation of the participants, on the model of the Moot Court Competition.
