Learning objectives
To know the pathophysiological, clinical, and psychological issues (from the preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic point of view), concerning fertility, procreation, pregnancy and childbirth, the puerperium about sexuality and its reflexes in these phases of a woman's life. Knowledge of the main periconceptional and perinatal screening methods, invasive and non-invasive prenatal diagnosis.
Being able to recognize the most common forms of gynecological pathology, indicating the essential preventive and therapeutic measures, and identifying the conditions that require the specialist's professional contribution.

Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will possess knowledge related to:
a) physiopathology and clinic of the female genital apparatus, functional and instrumental semeiotics, clinical methodology, traditional and minimally invasive therapy and surgery in gynecology;
b) reproductive pathophysiology, pregnancy screening aimed at predicting fetal and maternal pathologies, diagnosis and treatment criteria of most important obstetric syndromes
He will be able to recognize the most frequent forms of gynecological pathology, indicating preventive and therapeutic measures and identifying the conditions that require the specialist's professional contribution.
He will be able to recognize the risk conditions of the most common fetal-maternal pathologies and to indicate the preventive and therapeutic measures of competence of the specialist.

- Pathology of Pregnancy Outpatient clinic: from 8.30 to 11.30 (one student per day - on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
- Outpatient Gynecological Ultrasonography: from 8.30 to 12.00 (two students per day 8.30-10.30 / 10.30.12.30 - from Monday to Thursday)
- 1 day in the delivery room (8.00 to 20.00). Two students entrusted to the doctor in charge
- Gynecological Operating Room: 8.30-14.00 (two students per day - Monday to Friday)
