Learning objectives
The course provides the theoretical-scientific and practical-methodological bases for training and motor activity in persons/athletes with a physical disability.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will acquire knowledge and skills in: 1) major motor characteristics of physical, sensorial, and intellectual-relational disability; 2) performance models of the main Paralympic sports; 3) designing, conducting, and managing training programs specifically developed for athletes with disability; 4) development of skills that support an adequate educational relationship and communicative competence with persons with a disability and caregivers.
