Learning objectives
The course aims at.
- Analyzing the theory and management tools necessary to develop sustainable development projects;
- Analyzing the project management approach to sustainable development,
- Analyzing the different phases of a project cycle: identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Applying the examined legal tools to the solution of case studie
- Developing critical analysis of the cases.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students should:
- Have a deep knowledge of the theory and management tools necessary to develop sustainable development projects
- Be able to make autonomous evaluation of project management cases
- Have developed the skills to apply the acquired knowledge to practical cases, throughtout the different phases of a project cycle: identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Have developed the related problem-solving skills

Course syllabus
The course aims at:
- Understanding the theory and analytical tools necessary to identify, design and implement sustainable development projects;
- Analyzing the Result Based Management (RBM) approach
- Analyzing the LogFrame approach for sustainable development projects
- Analyzing the different phases of a project cycle: identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Applying the analysis and tools of RBM

By the end of the course, students should:
- Retain knowledge and understanding of the theory and tools necessary to develop and manage sustainable development projects
- Be able to develop autonomously a sustainable development project proposal
- Have developed the skills to apply the acquired knowledge to practical cases, throughout the different phases of a project life cycle: identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Have developed the related problem-solving skills
Prerequisites for admission
No previous knowledge of project management is required
