Learning objectives
- To acquire the general knowledge of respiratory system diseases
- To acquire the methods for carrying out tests for the evaluation of cardiorespiratory function
- To acquire the knowledge of surgical techniques in the treatment of pneumothoracic pathologies and the extracorporeal circulation techniques applied to them
- To acquire the knowledge of organ preservation for the purpose of transplantation
Expected learning outcomes
- Good knowledge of respiratory diseases, specialized surgery techniques and knowledge of extracorporeal circulation techniques in this field
- Knowledge and practice of performing tests for the evaluation of cardiorespiratory function
- Knowledge of methods used for lung preservation

Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam will be written. It will mainly consist of multiple choice questions with the addition of some open questions, in addition it will be possible, at the discretion of the teacher, to carry out an additional oral test.
