Learning objectives
The class proposed to the students of the Faculty has its goal in giving a cultural formation larger to obtain a different and more appropiate culture about sport and physical education. A moral education and ethics from an historical point of view and an closer look from our subject, could help the students to have an
horizon of scientific interest more intense during his/her period of studies. The journalism and the world of media could become a new interest for a new observation and study of the wrong way to face the sport: i.e. doping. This new path, could give to athletes, coaches, the world of the schools and to the sports clubs a dimension more responsible and according to the humans developing about mental, physics and social developing of all people in each kind of sport. The possibility to interact with different people involved in the world of the sports, could make more easier new choices and new openess for different possibilities in the world of business and give to the students unexpected working prospectives which needs an ethics more authentic for the human beings insted of performance and record.
Expected learning outcomes
The students at the end of theire classes could have a deeper knowledge about the evolution of the sporty thinking which its come to built the idea of physical education and sport. The three differentes areas thoughts would give a knowledge it can help to guide towards a new form of humanitation instead of dishumanitation about the world of sporta and of the physical education. The cultural knowledge of the history and of the philosophy builts an ethics and a moral more conform to the athletic life and of the "expert of sport" in the way of a new acts of the sport gesture.

A. Ethic area
- Why we have to study ethics and sport
- From the classical world to our times: evolution and competitions
- From Olimpia (Greace) to our days looking to the activity in the schools
- Playful and sport: an looking closely
- Sport as a job and ethics too?
- Exercise and physical education: values and relationship with the sports
B. Scientific area
- Doping, violence, etc.
- Sport and inclusion and paralympic games and activities
- Values of the workout and practices
- The champion and his/her rules
- From playing to the sports: civilitation or illusion?
C. Journalism area
- In this area we will study the different topics which are part of the specific area especcially media, media education and others fields of analysis.
D. Common area
- This is the crucial moment of synthesis. What will be important is to built a new idea of physical education and sport especcially in the school and in the differents society.
- The man player and dreamer
- Moral education and culture of the sport
A new way to the ethics of the sport
Prerequisites for admission
All the students who have already compleated the first academic year are welcomed after the registration to the specific class

Theoretical lessons and video support and analysys and meeting with athletes from the Olympic and Paralympic games

Assessment methods and Criteria
To the students will be requested to present a paper about a topic freely choosen between all the topics presented during the academic year plus a text presented by the professor during the year and freely choosen by the candidate.
