Learning objectives
The workshop aims to explore the topic of ethics and human dignity in business through the practical experiences, distinctive elements and principles of organic leadership, social threefolding and organizational salutogenesis. It will explore the foundations on which successful business initiatives have been built that have put philosophical questions at the center, and explore innovative governance and organizational models inspired by these principles.
Expected learning outcomes
The workshop aims to develop the following skills:

Critical thinking skills:
By the end of the workshop, students will display a sufficiently independent critical approach in selecting and interpreting the notions that are most relevant their area of study and to the broader socio-cultural context in which they operate

Communication skills:
By the end of the workshop:
- students will be able to effectively communicate the acquired knowledge and disseminate it to the general public;
- student will have developed basic IT skills concerning knowledge preservation and transfer.

Learning skills:
By the end of the workshop, students will have developed the learning skills required to continue their studies in keeping with their own research interests. In order to meet this objective, students will also develop relevant skills in the independent interpretation of sources and in the use of basic IT tool for bibliographic research.

LABORATORY: Social threefolding in the company, organic leadership and organisational salutogenesis

The course is structured as follows:
I) Introduction to Social Threefolding, definition of the concepts of ethics, human dignity, and methods of studying social and business phenomena;
II) Analysis of systemic problems in business economics and the relationship with social phenomena, cultural elements and scientific research in the organisational field;
III) Relationship between individual and society and individual and company, the 'organic' organisational culture and emerging organisational phenomena;
IV) Practical exercises and examples of the application of organic leadership in the company;
V) Organisational salutogenesis: measurement, KPIs and qualitative and quantitative analyses of companies .

Assessment methods and Criteria
The evalutation, without a grade, consists of participation in the workshop activities and presentation of the results of the various practical exercises carried out during the course.
Attendance is compulsory. The workshop awards 3CFU.
