- students will be able to effectively communicate the acquired knowledge and disseminate it to the general public;
- student will have developed basic IT skills concerning knowledge preservation and transfer.
Learning skills:

Module: Laboratorio professionalizzante Storiografia filosofica, archivi e filologia d'autore
The Laboratory provides an introduction to the basic notions of archival research and to its concrete working methods, including a description of the particularities of individual scholars' archives and the theoretical framework involved. This will be accompanied by a description of the possible scientific uses and the limits in the treatment of archival material, with reference to the legal obligations on copyright and privacy.
The following didactic core will focus on the scientific methods of approaching documentary material and their valorisation in historiography, within which the methods of analysis and textual processing typical of the so called "filologia d'autore" will be presented.
Students will learn the various steps that are required for the preparation of a critical edition and will practice on originals or copies from the archives conserved at the Biblioteca di Filosofia, in line with the development of a critical discourse aimed at underlining the relevance of these documents and their contextualization for an enhancement of the historiographical research.
