Learning objectives
1. Knowledge of the main theories of Cultural Psychology
2. Knowledge of the main causes of psychosocial malaise and the therapeutic effects of places and nature, with special focus on migration processes.
In the first module, the discipline of cultural psychology will be presented: we will discuss the main authors and models. The second module deals with the psychosocial causes of psychological distress in today's society, highlighting what are the protective factors that we have as a species. We will underline the healing effects of places and nature and how this intersects with the theme of the environmental future of the planet and with what the coronavirus pandemic has taught us.
