Course syllabus
The discipline of cultural psychology will be presented: we will discuss the main authors and models. We will discuss the psychosocial causes of psychological distress in today's society, highlighting what are the protective factors that we have as a species. We will underline the healing effects of places and nature and how this intersects with the theme of the environmental future of the planet and with what the coronavirus pandemic has taught us.
Prerequisites for admission
The course is designed for students who are not previously trained in Psychology.
The program for non-attending students is the same as for attending students.
Teaching methods
The course includes the discussion of different theories with numerous examples and cases. It will aim for student's participation
