Learning objectives
The course aims at introducing students to the knowledge of the events of the contemporary era and to the understanding of the political and institutional Italian, european and international history. Particular attention will be dedicated to the main trends in the historiography and to the analysis of the cultural, social and economic elements of the historical process.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will be provided with the knowledge of the main events and actors of the contemporary history in the XIX and XX centuries. They will also be able to use the main methodological instruments to analyze trends in historiography and to acquire an adequate terminology.
