Learning objectives
The course aims to provide a scientific, technical and regulatory overview of the topic of environmental management of human activities, offering participants the most up-to-date knowledge in the field. Professional practice cannot disregard a good knowledge of current environmental regulations and good practices in the management of the environmental aspects of an organisation, be it small, medium or large.
The aim of the course is to develop the knowledge to train a figure specialised in the management of authorisation procedures and environmental prescriptions concerning special waste, water abstraction and waste water, atmospheric emissions, external noise and GHG emissions. This figure will be a highly valuable support for companies to effectively respond to the requirements of environmental protection regulations, since this is a scientific-technical field of great importance as well as characterised by a very strict system of sanctions.
Expected learning outcomes
The objective is to train professionals able to interact with consolidated and emerging needs of companies in the area of environmental certification and authorisation.
The issue of environmental protection is becoming increasingly important in professional practice as a function of new national and European regulations. It is therefore necessary to train new figures capable of interacting with the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and with the evolution of the procedures and obligations of production activities towards the Public Administration, with regard to pollution reduction and environmental protection.
Many of the brand new environmental regulations, with which SMEs must comply, need professionals to assist companies, guide them and orient them correctly. To date, there is no training course capable of training specialists with specific and operational skills in this field. The Environmental Impact Studies and Procedures course aims to fill this gap.
