Learning objectives
The Master's Degree Program in Sciences of the Technical Care Professions aims to provide training that allows the graduate to:
· Apply the basic knowledge of the sciences relevant to the specific professional figure necessary to make decisions relating to the organization and management of health services provided by personnel with technical health functions of the medical area, within health structures;
· Acquire skills in health economics and business organization necessary for the organization of health services and for the management of human and technological resources available, evaluating the cost / benefit ratio;
· Have a thorough knowledge of specific sectors of the healthcare organization in the technical health sector;
· Learn the methods and tools of research in the area of organization of health services;
· Learn the techniques for optimizing all the resources (human, technological, information, financial) available to healthcare structures;
· Understand the techniques for designing and implementing training interventions for updating and permanent training relating to the professional figures of reference;
· Develop the teaching skills for the specific professional figure in the context of the tutorial and coordination activities of the internship in basic, complementary and permanent training.
Expected learning outcomes
The bachelors at the end of the course must be able to:
· Take decisions relating to the organization and management of health services provided by personnel with technical health functions in the medical area, within health structures;
· Use the skills of health economics and business organization necessary for the organization of health services and for the management of available human and technological resources, evaluating the cost / benefit ratio;
Supervise specific sectors of the health organization in the technical health field;
· Use research methods and tools in the area of organization of health services;
· Plan the optimization of all the resources (human, technological, information, financial) available to the health structures;
· Plan and implement training interventions for updating and ongoing training related to the professional figures of reference;
· Be able to apply teaching techniques for the specific professional figure in the context of tutorial activities and coordination of the training in basic, complementary and permanent training.
