Learning objectives
The course is aimed at both beginner and advanced students. For beginner students the goal is to achieve the A2 level of the German language. For advanced students, the goal is the consolidation of previous language skills. The aim of the course for all participants is the acquisition of basic skills in the analysis of short texts related to various themes and the political and economic sector (e.g. political system, economy, innovation).
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student must be able to:
1. Actively use grammatical knowledge (e.g. conjugation of verbs, declension of adjectives) in the resolution of written exercises (e.g. MCQ, completion questions).
2. Answer closed questions in writing (e.g. MCQ, true or false) and open on texts covered in class (content, meaning of terms, grammar).
3. Answer orally short open questions about the texts covered in class (content, meaning of terms, grammar).
4. Propose a translation of the texts covered in class.
5. Independently understand German texts similar to those analyzed in class.
6. Answer closed questions in writing (e.g. MCQ, true or false) and open on texts not covered in class (content, meaning of terms, grammar).
7. Answer orally short open questions about texts not covered in class (content, meaning of terms, grammar).
8. Produce short texts written in German.
9. Answer oral questions on non-specialist topics (presenting yourself, describing your course of study, etc.).
