L'insegnamento si propone di fornire gli elementi di conoscenza fondamentali per la gestione sostenibile delle acque meteoriche, mettendo gli studenti in grado di definire e dimensionare il sistema di recupero più adatto al caso specifico, individuandone anche gli usi previsti per legge. Inoltre, verranno forniti elementi per pianificare la gestione e l'utilizzazione sostenibile delle risorse idriche sulla base delle necessità delle comunità, dell'uso antropico dei territori e dei possibili scenari di cambiamento climatico.
