Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with the linguistic knowledge necessary for full understanding of Greek literature. Specific attention is devoted to literary dialects in their historical development, within the genres in which they are used.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge: at the end of the course, students are expected to have acquired the technical knowledge adequate for the study of Greek at university level. In particular they are expected to have acquired adequate familiarity with linguistic aspects and with the stylistic code of the texts proposed.

Skills: at the end of the course the students must demonstrate that they:
- are able to motivate and discuss the Italian translation of the Greek text with a conscious and non-mechanical or mnemonic approach;
- are autonomously able to place a text within the genre to which it belongs and in relation to other literary genres;
- are able to use appropriately the bibliographic tools
