Learning objectives

The historical development of science and technology let us show the relationships between science and all other aspects of cultural and social life; a special attention is given to the relationship with the philosophy of science.

Expected learning outcomes

As a final result of this course, the student is expected to know the fundamental steps of the historical development of science and technology, and the main problems concerning each step. He/she will be able to put in this frame any knowledge about more specific topics, and will be able to understand the relationships with the general historical development.
