Learning objectives
- knowledge and understanding of the fundamental institutions of private law, including their general principles.
Expected learning outcomes
- ability to rework principles and rules of private law, and ability to apply such knowledge and understanding to specific cases;
- ability to systematically read and interpret legislation; autonomous capability to identify the rationale behind each rule;
- ability to effectively communicate and discuss (in English) topics of Italian private law;
- ability to apply the comparative method with regard to the divergences and convergences of major European legal traditions.
