Learning objectives
The objective of the course is:
- to acquire knowledge related to the main experimental methods used in preclinical pharmacology;
- to acquire knowledge related to the main experimental models, both in vitro and in vivo, used in preclinical pharmacology;
- to acquire the ability to design a preclinical pharmacology experiment and analyze its results.
Expected learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student should know:
- the biomolecular technologies used in preclinical pharmacology;
- the experimental models used to study drug targets and new drug development;
- the main basic techniques of an experimental pharmacology laboratory;
- how to plan a preclinical pharmacology experiment and discuss its results.
