Learning objectives
The aim of the esercitazioni for the Norwegian language (i.e., practical classes added to the course "Scandinavian Languages I-II-III" but that do not allow to accrue ECTS), is that students acquire and develop written, oral, interaction and mediation skills, in accordance with levels described by the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR) and its subsequent revisions and updates. The final BA level is B2.
Expected learning outcomes
The expected result in terms of applied competence is the achievement of the level specified for every year for all linguistic-communicative activities: reception (listening and reading), production of written and oral texts, interaction and mediation. The entrance level is detailed in the Prerequisites, while the expected goal is detailed in the Syllabus. Students are expected to spend time on self-study to prepare for classes and to review and consolidate work done in class.

Course syllabus
The practical classes are part of the course "Scandinavian Languages 1" and last over the two terms (2 lessons per week; course instructor: Jørn Riseth). The course languages are Italian (or English) and Norwegian (the latter is used more and more during the year).
The aim is to help students acquire basic abilities for all linguistic-communicative activities by means of reading and listening exercises, oral interaction and presentations, grammar and vocabulary exercises. Students are required to prepare for classes, as well as consolidate and develop the acquired knowledge and abilities through self-study.
The final level is A2.
Prerequisites for admission
None.

Frontal lessons, activities and exercises during classes, home assignments, self-study.

Handbook and materials will be available at the beginning of the course.

Students that do not attend classes are required to contact the instructor for guidance on the usage of the materials.

The practical classes are part of the course "Scandinavian Languages 2" and last over the two terms (2 lessons per week; course instructor: Jørn Riseth). The course language is normally Norwegian; Italian or English will be used, if necessary, for a better understanding.
The aim is to help students acquire lower intermediate abilities for all linguistic-communicative activities by means of reading and listening exercises, oral interaction and presentations, grammar and vocabulary exercises. Students are required to prepare for classes, as well as consolidate and develop the acquired knowledge and abilities through self-study.
The final level is B1.
Prerequisites for admission
Practical classes will be taught mostly in Norwegian. Textbooks and activities in class or for self-study require that students already have a linguistic competence at level A2.

Students are required to prepare for classes, as well as consolidate and develop the acquired knowledge and abilities through self-study.
The final level is B2.
Prerequisites for admission
Practical classes will be taught exclusively in Norwegian. Textbooks and activities in class or for self-study require that students already have a linguistic competence at level B1.
