Understanding of the biological and epidemiological principles of major crop diseases and their relationship with field control methods.
Analyze case studies of disease control through the sustainable use of plant protection products, assessing current guidelines and regulations.
Understand and evaluate the opportunities for site-specific approaches in crop protection examples.
Expected learning outcomes
Be able to develop crop protection plans that comply with pesticide usage guidelines.
Apply the basic principles of plant pathology and phytomedicine to develop site-specific data aimed at formulating maps for the distribution of plant protection products.
