Teaching Workshop: Behind an Exhibition. Organisation and Handling

Learning objectives
The workshop examines how to manage an exhibition in its various phases, from conception to project development to implementation. Theoretical and pratical issues will be addressed regarding conservation, setting in public and private institutions, the protection and enhancement of heritage and the legislation governing the handling of works of art in Italy and abroad.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will get more acquainted with the aspects of exhibition-organizer profession by acquiring a diversified methodological practice according to the type of artworks and exhibition spaces, the unconventional ones as well.
Adequate suggestions will be provided to manage various tasks and solve contextual criticalities.
