The teaching workshop introduces students to the world of children's publishing in Italy, in all its aspects. Some hints will also be dedicated to the foreign market.

Knowledge of the main mechanisms and protagonists of the Italian children's publishing world.

From the evolution of genres and market to the main publishing companies, from the "construction" of the book (author-editor-illustrator-graphic) to the role of agents and reading promoters. In ten lessons the world of children's publishing in Italy.
Prerequisites for admission
None.
Teaching methods
The lessons (with the exception of the first one) will be online, with guests who will explore specific topics together with the teacher and exercises to do at home and in class. During the lessons active and constant participation will be required and verified.
Teaching Resources
Articles and data from specialized magazines, sample reading sheets, narrative texts to read and evaluate.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The student's constant participation and the profitable performance of the activities assigned will be verified. The final evaluation is "Approved" or "Not-approved".

Frontal lesson, open discussion, dialogue with guests, individual practical exercises.

Books, magazines, articles, proofreading tests and evaluation forms distributed in class.

The constant attendance of the student and the profitable performance of the assigned activities will be verified. The final evaluation is "Approved" or "Not-approved".
