Training

The aim of the final internship activity is to enable the student to acquire techniques and methodologies used in a laboratory, to facilitate the progression into the University careers or the selection of job opportunities. The internship consists of a continuous period of practical activities in research laboratories within the University of Milan, or outside, in private or public research Institution affiliated with the University. Laboratory training is also aimed at developing critical skills, team-working and communication skills.

At the end of the internship, the student will have acquired ability to address a biological problem, read the scientific literature, apply new biotechnological methodologies, collect and analyze scientific data and discuss results. The internship activity which will involve the acquisition the scientific method to correctly plan, analyze and present scientific results will allow to achieve the final exam.
